Christian, you do not have to fight your battles on your own. Even when circumstances seem impossible and fear overwhelms you, do not lose heart (2 Corinthians 4:16-18). God is always in your corner (Romans 8:31-32). God will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). He has provided ALL of the armor needed for battle (Ephesians 6:10-17). And history has proven that The Lord is a Warrior … your Warrior!
Exodus 15:1-3 (NIV) – Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song to the LORD: “I will sing to the LORD, for He is highly exalted. Both horse and driver He has hurled into the sea. 2 “The LORD is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise Him, my father’s God, and I will exalt Him. 3 The LORD is a Warrior; the LORD is His name.
Seemingly without hope, trapped on the Egyptian side of the Red Sea, and facing certain death from Pharoah’s fast approaching army, the Israelites “… were terrified and cried out to the Lord …” saying “Didn’t we say to you in Egypt, ‘Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians’? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!” But 13 Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. 14 The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” (Exodus 14:10-13)!”
Amazingly, the Lord responded to the faith of Moses telling him to “Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground (Exodus 14:16).” And it happened just as the Lord promised!!
God parted the waters of the Red Sea and they passed through “… with a wall of water on their right and on their left …” saving “… Israel from the hands of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians lying dead on the shore … and put their trust …” in God ” … and in Moses His servant (Exodus 14:29-31).”
Safely on the other side of Red Sea the Israelites sang a song to the Lord. That song is recorded in Exodus 15:1-18. The song they sang highly exalted the Lord saying: “The LORD is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise Him, my father’s God, and I will exalt Him. 3 The LORD is a Warrior; the LORD is His name. (Exodus 15:2-3).“
My heart is full of praise knowing that The LORD is a Warrior … my Warrior!!
